Hi all Is is always worth checking even so called "professionals" work when you are paying good money for equipment to be installed. On Endeavour we had installed a Raymarine C120 chart plotter and RADAR. It worked well on the first trip out (during half term) but when I went to check the boat last week none of the electrics were working. When I asked the yard electrician to check the wiring he said that the installisation was a "bodge / rush" job. One connector had far too many wires in it and they were not making a good connection. The fitters cocerned have been contacted and they are due to come back today and put it right - and be assured I will be checking. Put the Spinnaker up today on the mooring - always a good game with no pole and the wind on the quarter - still need a pole - come on guys I am relying on you. Remember check the "professionals" work Slightly cross and annoyed............................Andy!
