Family Crusing

I am looking at buying a Beneteau, probably a Oceanis 350 (1990 model). Does anyone have experience of this boat, especially it's suitability for crusing with a family. I have sailed for some years now but my wife is new to it and my two boys (8 1/2 and 10) are new to large boats but do have dingy experience.
