New member looking for info!

Hi there all,
Joined at ExCel and now looking forward to getting 'out & about'.
I have a First 30, (1981) called Eleanor C.
She was seriously neglected by her previous owners, so I have to rectify what has deteriorated, and I have updated her with loads of new kit.
I have still some problems to overcome, however.
1. The toerails are bent over in a couple of places and I have read with interest what members have said.
Mine are rivetted so I plan to use a metal block and 'G'clamps, braced against a strong beam to push them out, which would not apply too much of a turning moment onto the rail/deck joint.
2. The hatches are crazy.....bit like me! So they need replacing!!
3. How easy is it to plumb in Gas?
4. How easy is it to re-wire and put in shore power?
Maybe see you out on the water?!
